The buildings designed for cultural activities were always key elements in the cities structure, accordingly, with the analysis of the evolution of several buildings of this kind, like show rooms, theaters, museums and cultural centers, there is a search to find a suitable solution for a very specific place, the Alqueva.

The proposal tries to explore solutions that allow revealing and potentiating the relations between the space and the spectator, in a way to create a strong connection between the building and the territory.

In a land increasingly abandoned the proposal uses a recent element of the territory and implements a network capable of uniting the settlements around the lake, trough culture, with a mobile floating structure that travels in the Alqueva reservoir.
